Ajax, ON

Ground Up Development

Net Zero Construction demonstrated its full range of capabilities through a comprehensive multi-phase development project in Ajax, transforming and expanding an existing self-storage asset into a modern, high-performing facility. The initial phase involved the interior conversion and revitalization of a 50,000 square foot self-storage building, enhancing both operational efficiency and customer experience. Building on this foundation, the second phase introduced 18,000 square feet of exterior heated drive-up lockers, providing added convenience and year-round functionality for users.

The final phase delivered a ground-up, four-story purpose-built self-storage facility, featuring a state-of-the-art drive-through loading bay—an innovative concept at the time that significantly improved accessibility and usability. This project stands as a testament to Net Zero Construction’s ability to unlock value from existing properties while delivering forward-thinking solutions that align with evolving market and client demands. Through careful planning, phased execution, and innovative design, Net Zero continues to showcase its commitment to creating efficient, future-ready storage environments.
